Bruce Lipton, a world famous physician, educator and writer is often quoted by his supporters as an icon of self-help and physical fitness. Born in 1906, Bruce Lipton received his medical degree from Harvard University and worked for the U.S. Public Health Service for over twenty years. Instead, he believes, our unconscious mind provides the critical information that guides and directs our behavior. And although this portion of our mind is far more difficult to influence than logic and reflection, it’s also more immune to negative manipulation. It follows that we can change undesirable behavior patterns much more easily and efficiently than we can with logic and rational thinking alone.

He says you need to be willing to go outside your comfort zone when solving complex problems, and he advocates using intuition as an extra tool.
