Bruce Lipton, a world famous physician, educator and writer is often quoted by his supporters as an icon of self-help and fitness. And although this part of our mind is much more difficult to influence than logic and reflection, it is also more resistant to negative manipulation. This means that we can change undesirable behavior patterns much more easily and effectively than we could with logic and rational thinking alone.

He says you must be willing to go beyond your comfort zone when solving complex problems, and he advocates using intuition as an additional tool. Intuition comes into play as it helps us connect what we already know to our subconscious mind, which in turn helps us make connections to the unconscious mind. Because conscious information tends to restrict our intuitive abilities, consciously processing too much info at once can have a serious inhibitory effect.
